Itineraries

4 Days and 3 Nights - Aswan to Luxor (Tour starts every Friday)

Day 1: Arrival in Aswan - The Start of the Tour

As you arrive in the city of Aswan, a 123egypttours.com representative will be meeting you at the Aswan airport or train station. Then you will be transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to the Nile Dolphin River Cruise to complete embarkation before lunch. You will be accompanied by your experienced Egypt tour guide for a tour to visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae with dinner and overnight stay onboard in Aswan.

 

Day 2: Enjoying Kom Ombo and Edfu

After finishing breakfast on board, sail to the city of Kom Ombo to visit the famous Temple there. This temple is shared by two gods Sobek and Heororis. Have lunch onboard then, sail to the city of Edfu to visit Horus temple in Edfu. Return onboard for some tea in the afternoon as you sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on your Nile cruise ship.

 

Day 3: Sightseeing in Luxor- The East Bank

After breakfast onboard your Nile cruise ship, you will sail to the city of Luxor. While sailing, your lunch will be served on board the cruise ship. Then you will be accompanied for a tour to visit the Eastern part of the Nile River in Luxor. There you can visit both the temples of Karnak and Luxor. Day 4: Luxor's Necropolis and End of the Tour

Enjoy a tour right after breakfast at the Western part of the Nile River in Luxor. There you can visit Valley of the Kings and the Colossi Memnon at El Deir EL Bahari, see the temple of Hatshepsut, the fifth pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty of Ancient Egypt and whose name means the Foremost of Noble Ladies. She is generally regarded by Egyptologists as one of the most successful pharaohs, reigning longer than any other woman of an indigenous Egyptian dynasty.  After the tour enjoy some free time for leisure. This is a great opportunity for shopping. And then you will be transported to Luxor airport or the local train station for departure.

5 Days and 4 Nights - Luxor to Aswan (Tour Starts every Monday)

Day 1: Arrive in Luxor – Start of the Cruise

Then you will be transported to a private air conditioned vehicle to the cruise ship for your embarkation before lunch. In the afternoon, you will be accompanied for an amazing tour to visit the Eastern part of the Nile River in Luxor. There you can visit both the Karnak and Luxor temples. Day 3: Horus and Sobek - Gods of Two Neighboring Towns

Sobek was revered for his ferocity and quick movement. It is said that he was the god who caught the four sons of Horus in a net, as they emerged from the waters in a lotus bloom. Haroeris, one of the oldest forms of Horus, was derived from a combination of the falcon-god with an indigenous deity Wer, "the Great One," a god of light whose eyes were the sun and the moon. Haroeris, or Horus the Elder, is sometimes recognized as the son or consort of Hathor; also he was the brother of Osiris and Seth. Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing - The Modern and Antique Adventure

Day 5: Aswan – End of tour

Day 1: Arrive Luxor and Start of Tour

Then you will be transported to your Air conditioned vehicle to the Nile Dolphin River Cruise ship for departure before lunch. Day 2: Luxor Sightseeing - Egypt's Most Famous Temples

After your morning meal, you will be accompanied for an amazing tour along the Eastern part of the Nile River in the city of Luxor. There you will visit both the Karnak and Luxor temples. After that, you will sail to Esna. Overnight stay will be in Esna onboard Nile Dolphin River Cruise.

 

Day 3: Tour of Edfu- The Amazing Story of Horus Temple

Edfu was a flourishing city in Ancient Times. Today, the most important monument in the city of Edfu is the Temple of Horus, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful and preserved Temples in Egypt. The origins of the Temple probably date back to the Second Intermediate Period, but the actual Temple only dates back to Ptolemaic times. Take a day tour in Edfu and together with your tour guide learn more about this amazing site.Then sail to the city of Kom Ombo. Your dinner and overnight stay will be onboard the cruise ship.

 

Day 4: Aswan City Arrival and Day Tour

You can visit the High dam in Aswan, the Unfinished Obelisk and the majestic Philae temple. Then you can also visit the Botanical garden by taking a traditional Egyptian Boat. Your over night stay will be on board the Nile Dolphin River Cruise in the city of Aswan.

 

Day 5: Optional Tour to Abu Simbel

Rameses II was the third Egyptian pharaoh of the Nineteenth dynasty. He is often regarded as Egypt's greatest, most celebrated and most powerful pharaoh. His successors and later Egyptians called him the "Great Ancestor". HE ordered the building of Abu Simbel for himself and his favorite wire Nefartari. You can have an optional tour in the morning in Abu Simbel. Then in the afternoon, visit the botanical Garden by Felucca. Your overnight stay will be onboard the Nile Dolphin River Cruise ship in Aswan.

 

Day 6: Day Tour of Kom Ombo - The Shared Temple of Two Gods

The Kom Ombo Temple is unusual in that it is a double temple, with one side dedicated to the god Haroeris and the other side to Sobek. The design is almost perfectly symmetrical, with two side-by-side sanctuaries and two parallel passageways leading through the outer parts of the temple. As afternoon approaches you can have optional visit to the botanical Garden by Felucca. The evening meals as well as overnight accommodation will be on board the Nile Dolphin River Cruise.

 

Day 7: Luxor Tours - The Famous Necropolis of Egypt

Breakfast, then you will be transferred to the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir EL Bahari and the Colossi Memnon. Return onboard the cruise for lunch and some free. Dinner and overnight aboard the Nile cruise vessel in Luxor.

 

Day 8: End of the River Cruise
