Itineraries

4 Days and 3 Nights - Aswan to Luxor (Cruise starts Every Friday)


Day 1: Arrive in Aswan

Aswan is the ancient city of Swenet, which in antiquity was the frontier town of Ancient Egypt to the south. The stone quarries of ancient Egypt located here were celebrated for their stone, and especially for the granitic rock called Syenite. They furnished the colossal statues, obelisks, and monolith shrines that are found throughout Egypt, including the pyramids. On arrival at the Aswan airport or train station a 123EgyptTours.com will meet you for an assisted transfer by a private air conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise ship. After lunch join a guided tour of the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae with dinner and overnight in Aswan.

 

Day 2: Day Tour of Kom Ombo and Edfu

After having breakfast on board the cruise, sail north to Kom Ombo the site of the Temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haeroris. Return on board the vessel to enjoy lunch and continue sailing northward to Edfu the site of the most well preserved temple in Egypt. The Horus temple is dedicated to the Elder Horus god. After the tour return to the cruise and relax onboard on the way to Esna.

 

Day 3: Day Tour of Luxor

Start your day with a delicious breakfast on board the Nile cruise ship while sailing to Luxor. After enjoying lunch join a guided tour to visit the East Bank of the Nile in Luxor to the Karnak and Luxor temples. Day 4: End of Tour

5 Days and 4 Nights - Luxor to Aswan (Cruise Starts Every Monday)


Day 1: Arrive in Luxor start of Cruise

Upon arrival we want to make sure that everything is convenient for your, a representative from 123EgyptTours.com will meet you and accommodate your transfer by an air-conditioned vehicle to Sonesta Nile Goddess River Cruise. After lunch together with your tour guide visit the Karnak and Luxor temples on the East Bank of the Nile in Luxor. Return to the ship for tea, dinner and overnight accommodation.

 

Day 2: Enjoy Luxor

Enjoy breakfast at the restaurant prepared by the cruise’s world class chefs; transfer to the West side of the Nile to further explore what the City of Luxor has to offer. See the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir EL Bahari and the Colossi Memnon. Return onboard the ship for lunch and afternoon tea while sailing to Edfu via Esna Lock. Dinner and overnight stay on board the Nile cruise vessel at Edfu.

 

Day 3: Explore Kom Ombo and Edfu

Midway through the cruise are the neighboring areas of Kom Ombo and Edfu. Experience Edfu first by visiting the Horus Temple known to be the best preserved temple in Egypt. Day 4: Experience Aswan

As you reach Aswan known to be the southernmost city in Egypt join the guided tour to visit to the High Dam in Aswan, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Philae temple with a visit to the Botanical garden by felucca overnight in Aswan on board the Nile cruise ship.

 

Day 5: Aswan and End of Tour

Disembark after breakfast and enjoy some free time for leisure in Aswan on your own and then transfer to the Aswan airport or train station for final departure.

8 Days and 7 Nights – Roundtrip Luxor (Cruise Starts Every Monday)


Day 1: Arrive in Luxor

Upon arrival in Luxor we will have one of our representatives meet you at the Luxor airport or train station, to assist you during your transfer by private air conditioned vehicle to the cruise for embarkation before lunch. Dinner and overnight aboard the Nile cruise vessel in Luxor.

 

Day 2: Day tour in Luxor

The world class chefs of Sonesta Nile Goddess River Cruise will prepare a sumptuous breakfast,  then after enjoying your meal, you will be accompanied for a wonderful tour to visit East Bank of the Nile in Luxor to the Karnak and Luxor temples. Sail towards Esna and stay overnight in Esna.

 

Day 3: Day tour of Edfu and Kom Ombo

Sail towards Edfu and upon arrival join the guided tour to the amazing Horus Temple It is the second largest temple in Egypt after Karnak and one of the best preserved. After the tour sail to Kom Ombo while you enjoy afternoon refreshments, dinner, nightly entertainment and overnight on board.

 

Day 4: Day tour to Aswan

Enjoy Aswan as you visit the High Dam in Aswan, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Philae temple. Ride a traditional Egyptian ship the felucca going to the Botanical garden by felucca overnight in Aswan on board the Nile cruise ship.

 

Day 5: Optional Tour to Abu Simbel

This day is dedicated for relaxation aboard the ship but you can also join an optional tour to different destinations during the morning and the afternoon. In the morning join the optional visit to Abu Simbel. The Abu Simbel temples are two massive rock temples in Nubia, southern Egypt on the western bank of Lake Nasser. The complex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Nubian Monuments," which run from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae. In the afternoon visit the botanical Garden by Felucca.

 

Day 6: Day tour Kom Ombo

Sail early to Kom Ombo, to visit the Temple shared by the two gods Sobek – the crocodile headed god of fertility and Haroeris the elder Horus god. Sail north for an overnight aboard the Nile cruise vessel in Luxor.

 

Day 7: Day Tour Luxor

Enjoy breakfast before transferring to the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor where you can enjoy sightseeing at the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir EL Bahari and the Colossi Memnon. Return to the cruise for lunch and some free time on board. Dinner and overnight aboard the Nile cruise vessel in Luxor.

 

Day 8: Disembarkation

After breakfast, disembark from your cruise. Then you will be transferred to Luxor airport or station for departure.
